My experience with the Titan Plus Luxe
I’m going straight for the jugular here: the Titan Plus Luxe is an excellent mattress if you’re a single sleeper and a mediocre one if you are sharing a bed with a partner who weighs as much as you do.
While most people think edge support doesn’t matter, heavier-set sleepers rely on it for support.

Now that we got that out of the way, if you’re a single sleeper the Titan Plus Luxe (which has a weight capacity of up to 1000 pounds by the way) is outstanding when it comes to comfort; temperature regulation; and, most importantly; support.
Firmness
The Titan Plus Luxe sits on a 6 on the mattress firmness scale which gives it a medium-firm feel.
Typically, on more traditional mattresses, this firmness level is good for all sleeper types.
But I found that the Titan Plus Luxe is best for heavier-set side sleepers and back sleepers.
Stomach sleepers may find that their hip area dips into the mattress which can ultimately cause long-term issues.
Cooling Test
We rate the Titan Plus Luxe a 7 out of 10 when it comes to cooling.

The Titan Plus Luxe only contains one cooling layer which is its cooling gel-infused comfort foam.
So it really isn’t one of the most cooling mattresses out there but it is a hybrid, so it doesn’t retain as much heat as all-foam mattresses.
Motion Transfer Test
We rate the Titan Plus Luxe a 6 out of 10 when it comes to motion isolation.

Because of the Titan Plus Luxe’s bouncier nature, you will feel a good amount of motion transfer if you share a bed with a partner.
Edge Support Test
We rate the Titan Plus Luxe a 4.5 out of 10 when it comes to edge support.

I can safely say that the Titan Plus Luxe has the worst edge support out of all the mattresses I’ve tried so far (I’m sorry, BB).
The center zone of the mattress’s coil unit features really sturdy coils, but the edges are much softer.
You’re going to experience a lot of compressing and sagging, especially if you weigh well over 250 pounds.
Pressure Relief Test
We rate the Titan Plus Luxe an 8 out of 10 when it comes to comfort and pressure relief.

Sleeping on the Titan Plus Luxe feels like I’m sleeping on a very responsive hotel bed.
While some people might want more cushioning, the mattress’ responsiveness provides pressure point relief and extra support for heavier sleepers.
Construction
There are five layers in the Titan Plus Luxe.
These layers come encased in a Tencel cover that’s breathable and cool to the touch. You have the option to upgrade this to a GlacioTex cooling cover for an additional fee.
The first layer is made up of cooling gel-infused foam that moves with you and helps with temperature regulation.
The second comfort layer is made up of TitanFlex comfort foam, a proprietary foam that is denser and delivers responsive cushioning and pressure relief.
The transition layer is made up of another type of proprietary foam that Titan refers to as their Supreme Response foam. This layer adds to the mattress support and enhances the mattress coil unit.
The coil system is made up of up to 900 individually wrapped coils that help provide extra support (especially for the lumbar area). The coil unit also acts as the mattress’ base layer.
Durability
I have tried many mattresses from Brooklyn Bedding, who, by the way, also make Titan mattresses including the Titan Plus Luxe.
Here are the ones I’ve tested so far:
- Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid
- Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex
- Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro
- Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe
I can certainly attest to the quality and workmanship of each and every mattress they put out.
The Titan Plus Luxe will last you a very long time, especially with proper mattress care and maintenance.
Sizes

The Titan Plus Luxe comes in nine mattress sizes, including two RV-specific sizes (which I think is a very nice touch).
It measures 13 inches in thickness and is compatible with most bed bases, frames, and foundations.

- Twin XL
- Full
- Queen

- California King

Where to buy the Titan Plus Luxe mattress
You can purchase the Titan Plus Luxe on the official Titan Mattress website but alternatively, you can also find it on Brooklyn Bedding’s official website as well as the RV Mattress website.
Conclusion
The Titan Plus Luxe is a comfortable mattress that excelled in my pain relief and pressure point relief tests. It’s also a durable mattress that should last you at least 10 years.
The downsides were it’s cooling capabilities, motion isolation, and edge support.
Is it the best mattress I’ve ever tried? No, but if you weigh over 250 pounds and don’t share a bed with a partner, the Titan Plus Luxe is a solid choice.
