Serta mattress warranties are all non-prorated, with the exception of the W20F warranty code. This means that you won’t have to pay any fees to have your mattress repaired or replaced as long as you have a valid warranty claim.
If your mattress has a W20F warranty code, then you’ll get 10 years of non-prorated warranty coverage followed by ten years prorated. Starting at year 11, you’ll pay 1/20 of your mattress’ retail price multiplied by the number of years that you’ve owned it.

Sagging and indents that are deeper than 0.75 inches are also covered. The Serta warranty also covers defects in the handles if your mattress is an iSeries or equivalent.
What damage is excluded from warranty coverage?
Like the warranties offered by other mattress brands, the Serta warranty excludes some types of damage. If you have personal comfort preferences or experience natural softening over time, the warranty will not protect you since this is considered normal wear and tear. If you experience bent perimeter wires or damaged corner guards from improper bending or moving, then you won’t be covered.
Any type of abuse or misuse is not covered by the Serta warranty. This includes stains, spills, burns, and rips. The warranty also excludes damage caused by using an improper foundation. Replacement terms
