The Awara Latex Hybrid mattress is moderately firm, responsive, and supportive. Latex is not a commonly-used material in hybrid mattresses but the combination of latex and a coil system makes for an ultra responsive bed that feels unlike any other.

The natural latex layer over the spring core is naturally cooler than traditional memory foam making it a good choice for those who tend to sleep hot or those who experience night sweats.

We found the mattress a 7 to 7.5 out of 10 on the mattress firmness scale, which makes it a medium-firm (1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest) . This means that the mattress skews more towards the firmer side.
The Awara Natural Hybrid mattress is responsive and supportive meaning that your body will not sink into the mattress, resulting in more pressure relief. Firm mattresses help your midsection and shoulders retain their natural alignment throughout the night.
The firmness of the mattress makes it well-suited for back and stomach sleepers. The natural Dunlop latex combined with spring base helps most stomach and back sleepers relieve pressure from their hips and midsection. The organic Dunlop latex is not only eco-friendly and long lasting but also provides responsive support to your body when you lie down on the mattress.
The support layer of Awara Natural Hybrid Mattress is an 8″ thick individually wrapped pocketed coils base. Pocketed coils offer significant support, especially for heavier individuals and for those who suffer from back pain.
