Our experience with Comfy Standard
When testing it out, I determined that Comfy Standard is an all-around great entry level memory foam mattress that will meet the needs of most sleepers. Is it as comfortable as a high-end mattress costing over $1500? No, of course not. But it’s a solid mattress for people who are shopping on a tight budget.
All three layers of the Comfy Standard are made out of memory foam. The 7″ base layer is made out of open-cell durable base foam that does an excellent job of providing support and making the mattress more durable over time. I definitely suffer from lower back pain and noticed that this mattress did a good job at relieving my symptoms, which is rare in this price range.
The transitional layer is made out of 1.5″ elevating memory foam. This layer provides excellent pressure relief and helps the mattress conform to your body, giving you that “sinking-in” feeling that memory foam mattresses are famous for.
The Comfy Standard is topped-off with 1.5″ of graphite-infused cooling memory foam. The graphite cooling gel is designed to pull heat away from your body and enhance airflow, which is great for hot sleepers.
Of course, the Comfy Standard is a moderately-priced mattress, which means you aren’t going to get high-end features like hybrid individually-wrapped coils or state-of-the-art copper-infused gel foam. The edge support and motion isolation are lacking, which is common in standard memory foam mattresses. The mattress is solid and does exactly what it claims to do: give you a great night of sleep without breaking the bank.
Comfy Standard comes with a 150-night sleep trial and a lifetime warranty. You also get free shipping on each order.

- Enhanced support
- 4 layers of memory foam
Comfy Premium cons
- Average edge support
- Average motion isolation
Our experience with Comfy Premium
Comfy Premium is the 12-inch, 4-layer upgraded version of the Comfy Standard. We highly recommend it for people who are looking for an all-foam mattress that has slightly more support than most (it’s especially great for heavyweight sleepers). Back and stomach sleepers usually require more support than side sleepers, so we think that this is a great mattress purchase for people who sleep in those sleeping positions.
It’s made out of the same 7″ base support foam layer as the Comfy Standard. When testing it out, we noticed that it definitely did a great job of providing support, although it’s not quite as supportive as a hybrid mattress with individually-wrapped coils. As a general rule, all-foam mattresses like the Comfy Premium aren’t going to have as much support or motion isolation compared to innerspring mattresses.
Up next is the 2″ transition foam layer, which is slightly thicker than what you get with the Standard. This layer definitely did a great job of reducing sagging and helped the mattress conform to my body shape without sinking-in too much.
The next layer is 1.5″ of macro air foam, which is designed to provide a moisture-wicking and cooling effect. In my experience, it’s definitely comfortable and helps this mattress sleep cool.
The final comfort layer is the 1.5″ of graphite-infused gel memory foam. The graphite material helps absorb your body heat and wick it away, providing a profound cooling effect. The cooling features that Comfy Premium offers are very similar to the Comfy Standard.
Even though it’s a massive improvement over the Comfy Standard, there are a few key areas where the Comfy Premium falls short. The motion isolation and edge support are average at best, especially when compared to the best mattresses in the world. At this price range, you’re not getting a luxury mattress but you’ll definitely get a comfortable bed that will help you sleep better when compared with a budget brand like AmazonBasics or Sweet Night.
Comfy Premium comes with a 150-night sleep trial and lifetime warranty. You also get free shipping on all orders.
