Its soft comfort layers and pillow top contours to your back and its coil system keeps your spine in a proper alignment. This hybrid mattress is also great for combo sleepers because its bouncy and responsive nature allows for easy movement when switching between positions. An innerspring mattress usually has high motion transfer, but the Heavenly Bed has surprisingly good motion isolation which makes it a fine choice for couples who don’t want their sleep to be disrupted by their restless partners.
We also think that side sleepers will enjoy the gentle cushioning and pressure relief provided by this bed’s thick comfort layers. Being one myself, I felt no pressure at all on my shoulders and hips, and my spine remained well -supported thanks to the supportive coil layer. Its pocketed coils and convoluted foam layers work together to promote plenty of airflow within the mattress to keep it sleeping cool throughout your sleep.
One drawback of the Heavenly Bed is that it’s not sturdy enough to support heavy stomach sleepers. If you sleep on your stomach and you weigh more than 230lbs, then you should look for a firmer mattress that won’t allow your hips to sink through its surface. Construction
The Westin Heavenly Bed is a 13.25″ tall pillow top hybrid mattress that’s manufactured by the Simmons Bedding Company. Built with a combination of memory foam and pocketed coils, this mattress also features a plush quilted pillow top which is quite soft and breathable. It’s also removable so if you want your mattress a bit firmer, you can unzip the pillow top and use the bed without it.
Beneath the pillow top, the mattress has multiple comfort layers made of convoluted memory foam. This foam provides cushioning comfort and relieves pressure points. Its convoluted design also helps keep the mattress cool by allowing more air to flow through it and preventing heat retention in the foam. Next up is a transition layer of high-density foam which eases your body down to the coil system below it.
The Westin Heavenly Bed’s innerspring system is composed of 850 individually wrapped coils which provide sturdy support and distribute your body weight evenly across the surface of the mattress. Aside from further improving the airflow within the mattress, this section of individually encased coils also provides the mattress with great motion isolation. And finishing the bed’s construction is a high-density polyfoam layer which acts as a foundation for the coil section above.
All the foams used in the Heavenly Bed’s construction are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning it’s made without ozone depleters, flame retardants, and heavy metals. This hybrid mattress is compatible with an adjustable bed frame, box springs, platform beds, and slatted bed frames.
