After trying it out, our team gave the OkiSoft mattress a rating of 5 out of 10 on the mattress firmness scale with 1 being the extra soft and 10 extra firm. The bed has a medium feel and is a little bit on the softer side of the spectrum. This firmness level is ideal for side sleepers who need the cushioning and sinkage for their shoulders and hips.
The Okisoft’s plush comfort layer is great at contouring to your curves and relieving pressure points. We believe this model is OkiOki’s best mattress for side sleepers and we strongly recommend it for those of you looking for a budget-friendly memory foam mattress. The OkiSoft is also suitable for back sleepers who prefer a softer sleeping surface that offers gentle cradling. You’ll definitely feel more “in” this mattress than “on” it due to the sinkage of its soft memory foam comfort layer.
Lumbar support is especially important for back and stomach sleepers and the OkiSoft does not excel at this department. If you’re in need of a firmer and more supportive mattress, you should opt for something like the Layla hybrid mattress.
Another potential drawback of the OkiSoft it that it has a “stuck in the mud feel” which makes it hard to switch positions during the night. If you’re a combination sleeper, you should check out latex mattresses which are more responsive and bouncier than memory foam mattresses.
Construction
The OkiSoft mattress is 10″ thick all-foam bed that’s comprised of three layers which include memory foam and high density polyurethane foam. The OkiSoft has a medium feel and it’s designed to give the most satisfaction to side sleepers who need a softer mattress. It’s also made with CertiPUR-US certified foams which are free from harmful substances and heavy metals.
The Okisoft is encased in a hypoallergenic cover that’s made of proprietary Ice Yarn which feels soft and cool to the touch. The cover is also removable and machine-washable making it easy to clean when necessary. Beneath the cover you’ll find a 3-inch memory foam layer that cradles your body and offers nice cushioning. Sleepers who love a bit of sinkage would love the feel of this comfort layer.
Next up, we have the bed’s transition layer which contains 6-inches of high- density polyfoam. This section acts as a buffer between the comfort layer and support layer. It provides support to promote neutral spinal alignment and it prevents you from sinking too far into the mattress. Lastly, we have a 1-inch layer of even firmer high-density polyfoam which serves as a sturdy foundation for the layers above it.
The OkiSoft did emit some off-gassing odor when removed from its packaging, but the smell dissipated after letting mattress air out in a well-ventilated room for 24 hours.

After trying it out, our team rated the OkiEasy mattress 6 out of 10 on the mattress firmness scale. The industry standard for medium-firm is 6.5 and this bed is just a touch softer than that. This mattress is suitable for most sleeper types. The OkiEasy’s soft yet supportive feel is ideal for back sleepers who are looking for body contouring and pressure relief.
Side sleepers will also enjoy sleeping on this mattress because its memory foam comfort layer allows for just enough sinkage to cushion your joints and relieve pressure. However, some side sleepers who weigh less than 130lbs might find the OkiEasy a bit too firm for their liking. This bed’s medium-firm feel makes it suitable for most individuals, especially back sleepers and average weight side sleepers. All the foams used in this mattress are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning they don’t contain toxic chemicals or heavy metals.
The OkiEasy is encased in the same cover as the OkiSoft, which is made of proprietary Ice Yarn. The cover is hypoallergenic and also removable as well as machine-washable. Below the cover is a 2-inch layer of memory which provides contouring and pressure relief, but not as much sinkage as the OkiSoft comfort layer. It isn’t overly soft and it won’t make you feel stuck in the mattress.
Next you’ll find a 2.5-inch transition layer which is made up of high-density polyfoam. This layer and the 5.5-inch coil section below it provides enhanced support to the mattress as well as full body contouring. Finishing the construction is a 1-inch base layer which is made of high-density foam that acts as a foundation for the layers above it and increases the bed’s overall stability.
We noticed little to no off-gassing upon unboxing the OkiEasy memory foam hybrid mattress. Hybrid model usually air out much quicker than all-foam beds because of their breathable designs.

After trying it out, our team gave the OkiFlex a rating of 7 out of 10, making it a true firm mattress. This bed’s firmness and support level make it an excellent choice for back and stomach sleepers, regardless of their body weight. The OkiFlex is buoyant and responsive which allows for easy movement, and it has reinforced edge support so you can maximize its whole surface.
It’s not the best mattress for strict side sleepers due to its firm feel, but it might work for some average-weight individuals. Lighter side sleepers might experience pressure buildup in their hips and shoulders on this mattress which could result in pain and stiffness. All the foams used in the OkiFlex are CertiPUR-US certified, which means they’re free from ozone depleters.
Again, this mattress is encased in a hypoallergenic cover made with proprietary Ice Yarn. This fabric is soft, cool to the touch, and designed to dissipate body heat away from you as you sleep. Beneath the cover, you’ll find a 2-inch comfort layer made of graphite-infused memory foam which offers initial pressure relief. This material has a slow response to pressure and it adapts to your body’s curves. Unlike traditional memory foam which tends to trap body heat, this foam is infused with graphite to keep it sleeping cool.

After trying out the OkiFirm mattress, we rated it 7.5 out of 10 on the mattress firmness scale. OkiOki gave it an 8 out of 10 rating but we felt that it was a little softer than that. Nonetheless, it’s still highly supportive and it’s definitely designed for heavier back and stomach sleepers who require a neutral spinal alignment to sleep comfortably. The OkiFirm has good edge support but not as strong as the hybrid OkiFlex mattress.
We don’t think this mattress is a great fit for most strict side sleepers because it’s firm surface does not provide enough cushioning for the hips and shoulders. However, if you’re side sleeper who switches positions often, this bed might be great for you because it doesn’t make you feel stuck. The OkiFirm is also suitable for individuals who tend to overheat at night because it features a cooling graphite-infused comfort layer that has a breathable open-cell structure for more airflow.
