Casper mattresses are available in a huge number of online stores and you can also order them in lots of furniture and department stores, but not all of those places have showrooms where you can actually try them before you buy. Here’s a list of places to buy Casper mattresses with a side note on places that offer mattress testing. We highly recommend Casper.com over all other options.
Places where you can buy a Casper mattress
The best stores to buy a Casper mattress are:
If you buy a Casper mattress directly from the brand, their customer support will be taking care of you throughout the whole process, including your Casper warranty claim and Casper returns process.
One thing to bear in mind when it comes to furniture stores like Rooms To Go, Conn’s, etc. is that they don’t usually sell items that you see in the store, but you have to wait for the delivery which can sometimes take a few weeks.
Ordering directly from Casper means you’re guaranteed to get your new mattress within a week.
Also, when you buy from partner stores, you might get a trial period of different duration – Casper offers a 100-night trial, but their partners might offer more or less than that.
Finally, some stores, like Macy’s, used to sell Casper mattresses, but now they only carry Casper sheets, pillows, and duvet covers.

Casper.com
The most obvious place to buy Casper mattresses is, of course, the Casper website.
This is the place for you if you’re okay with not trying the bed before you pay for it (although Casper is a mattress brand that offers free trials so you can return it if you don’t like it).
Some promotions and discounts are only available on Casper.com, so if you buy your mattress online or in-store but from another seller, you may not get them.
But then again, those other stores may have their own promotions, so it’s not a bad idea to look around before opting for a place to purchase.
You can also use the Find a Store option on Casper’s website to see the nearest locations where you can buy a Casper mattress. They have filters so you can choose between official Casper Sleep Shops or partner stores.
Casper Sleep Shops
Casper Sleep Shops allow you to nap in the privacy of a separate space when you book a “Nap Appointment”.
But it seems like you don’t even need an appointment, Casper says walk-ins are also welcome.
Those “sleep areas” are like sleep pods/small bedrooms. Each one contains a different model to try out and you have about half an hour to nap.
Casper promises that the staff at Sleep Shops don’t get a commission, which is supposed to prevent them from being pushy.
You can look around, try out mattresses and other sleep products, ask for any info you need, and then make a decision for yourself.
Target
If you look at Casper’s Find a Store map, you’ll see Target as one of the most common stores that sell Casper mattresses.
But there’s a catch – Target stores may sell mattresses online, but rarely any Target location has mattresses you can try out.
So, view Target primarily as an online place for purchase. You can always call your nearest store to check whether they have a mattress section.
Amazon
Amazon is another common place where you can shop for a Casper mattress online.
Just don’t go so far with price comparisons between brands to where you would buy one of the super cheap mattresses from Amazon, because that’s dumb for several reasons.
If you do buy from Amazon, you can still contact Casper support for mattress-related questions, but the warranty and returns will go through Amazon.
And Amazon is one of the rare places outside of Casper.com where you can get all Casper products.
Costco
Costco doesn’t have showrooms where you can test mattresses, so you can only order a mattress and get it delivered.
If you’re shopping online, you should know that Casper mattresses are only available to members.
There are only two Casper models available at Costco:
- Casper Select 12″ Hybrid Medium-Firm Mattress
- Casper Select 12″ Memory Foam Medium-Firm Mattress
These models are only produced for Costco.
The Select models have an extra layer of memory foam and they cost less than the regular Casper Hybrid and Original models.
Conn’s HomePlus
Conn’s HomePlus has Casper mattresses on display in stores. If you want to buy one, you can order a pickup or a delivery.
I’d advise against financing over Conn’s HomePlus because they are notorious for processing payments after the deadline so they can get delinquent charges.
Many people complained about Conn’s destroying their credit scores with this trick.
Rooms To Go
Rooms To Go have many showrooms that feature a wide range of mattress styles and other furniture, so you can try and compare Casper to Nectar and Purple or other mattresses that Rooms To Go sells.
Of course, online shopping is also an option. You can choose among lots of Casper models and sizes.
Mattress Warehouse
Mattress Warehouse has showrooms in some states, and it’s really easy to see if they have one near you.
You can just go to their website, look up any Casper mattress, and see the options next to the product.

- Pickup in store, and
- Try before you buy
All of these are based on your Zip code, so the website will automatically tell you if and where you can try Casper mattresses.
Raymour and Flanigan
Raymor and Flanigan is a lesser-known store chain available in several states.
They have large spaces for testing mattresses and tend to deliver furniture quickly.
I have to praise their website for being a perfect balance of user-friendly and informative.
Raymor and Flanigan even has a free 3D-planning platform where you can pick furniture from their online store and literally design your own room, with all the various options for colors and materials.
And if you’re not that much into computers, you can get a free design consultation with them.
HOM Furniture
HOM Furniture stores are similar to Raymour and Flanigan, which means that you can test and compare many mattresses, and then get one delivered to your hom. I mean, home. HOM Furniture also offers design services and you can purchase a mattress online and get it delivered fairly quickly.
People who go to HOM Furniture usually love the store.

Can I try a Casper mattress before buying it?
Yes, there are two ways you can do that – the old-fashioned, literally trying in stores before paying, and the modern way, through mattress trial.
Here you do pay, but you get 100 nights to try it out, and then you can return the mattress for a full refund if you don’t like it.

Yes. Costco has contracts with various companies to make special mattress models just for them. They are cheaper and this way Costco gets to keep their prices low, but at the same time nobody else is able to compete with them or price-match since only Costco has those models. The difference is pretty minimal, for example, Casper Select 12″ Memory Foam has one extra foam layer, but the materials are a bit cheaper.
There were some. Casper went through some ups and downs, including lawsuits with bloggers and their own customers, but overall, they remain a well-liked company among those who own a Casper mattress.
