If you’re on the hunt for a sturdy wooden frame then you are probably considering the Bear Platform bed. Made from solid pine wood, the Bear Platform bed is a wood platform bed that can withstand any type of movement and has a weight capacity of up to 900 lbs. A platform bed frame is compatible with any type of mattress, be it an all-foam mattress or a combination of both foam and spring coils. The Bear Platform bed frame can be used with even the densest and heaviest memory foam mattress there is.
Upon testing it out with a partner, we found the Bear Platform bed frame to be a quiet bed frame and virtually squeak-free even with constant movement.
The Bear Platform bed is made from 100% American-sourced pure pine wood that’s assembled with water-based glue. Each bed frame is finished with a formaldehyde-free, low VOC stain. You have the option to choose between different finishes such as grey, walnut and almond.
The base of the Bear Platform bed consists of wooden slats spaced 3″ apart. This provides ample support for both thicker and heavier mattresses as well as sleepers who are heavier-set.
