Our experience with the GhostBed Adjustable Base
For a such a simple looking adjustable bed frame, the GhostBed Adjustable Base comes with premium features such as 15 different massage settings, head and foot adjustability, zero gravity and so much more.
Featuring a sturdy 100% steel frame and customizable legs that go up to three lengths, the GhostBed’s Adjustable Base comes shipped in a box just like their mattresses. But for those who are worried about that assembly will be difficult, the GhostBed Base already comes pre-assembled. All you have to do when you first get your GhostBed Adjustable Base is unbox, unfold, screw the legs into place and you’re good to go. No tools required.
In the event that you need to move or just want to transfer your bed to another room, we found that taking the GhostBed Adjustable Bed apart takes less than 10 minutes which is pretty convenient for those always on the go.
The base itself is covered in GhostBed’s signature slate gray and white fabric. It features an anti-skid material that helps keep your mattress stay in place. Of course, there also is a steel retainer bar at the foot of the bed frame that also helps keep the mattress in place, especially when utilizing the independent head and foot adjustability.
Aside from from the adjustable base features, the GhostBed Adjustable Base offers all the additional features such as a massage feature, anti-snore and anti-acid reflux modes, a watch tv mode (which we can assure you is probably the comfiest we’ve ever been in bed while watching television), USB ports on both sides of the bed as well as under-bed lighting.
Not a lot of adjustable bed frames have under-bed lighting which is a nice little extra especially for someone like me who stubs her toe a lot. You also have the option to turn-off the under-bed lighting if you prefer not to use it.
A wireless remote control is included with the GhostBed Adjustable Base. It comes with one-touch buttons for each of the modes with the option to save your preferred settings and pre-set positions so you won’t have to fumble around with buttons.
The massage modes on the GhostBed Adjustable Bed frame comes with both a foot massage mode, a full body and a head massage feature. Whichever mode you choose, the massage modes all come with 3 intensities. Coupled with the GhostBed Adjustable Base’s zero gravity feature, the massage features helps keep all the pressure off from the body’s main pressure points as well as help relieve any body pain.
If you share a bed with a partner, the GhostBed Adjustable Base comes in a Split King base. Using two Twin XL mattresses, you and your partner can utilize any adjustable bed feature you choose separately. One of you could be watching tv, while the other could be having a full body massage.
The GhostBed Adjustable Base also works with your existing bed frame – as long as your bed frame has an open foundation or the slats and horizontal support rails can be removed in the case of wooden slats/rails.
As an add-on, GhostBed offers universal-fit headboard brackets so you can use either headboards or footboards with your GhostBed Adjustable Bed frame.
Designed to work with all GhostBed mattresses like the GhostBed Luxe, the GhostBed Adjustable Base can work with most types of adjustable mattresses (and mattress brands) such as innerspring mattresses, latex mattresses, hybrids and memory foam mattresses.
For an additional cost, GhostBed provides a replacement adjustable base remote control in the event that you lose the one that came with your GhostBed Adjustable Base.
Although GhostBed offers free shipping for all of the GhostBed products within the United States, it is worth noting that the GhostBed Adjustable Base does not come with a sleep trial or white glove delivery.
The GhostBed Adjustable Base has a weight capacity of up to 750lbs, including mattress and bedding.

Warranty
Sleep trials do not apply to bed frames and adjustable bases from GhostBed. The GhostBed Adjustable Base does come with a limited lifetime warranty. You also have the option to purchase extended warranty for a nominal fee as well as removal of your old mattress in case you purchase a GhostBed mattress along with your adjustable bed frame. Returns may incur transportation costs and freight expenses.

Adjustable bases can work in every bed provided that the bed frame has an opening in the foundation that the base can fit into. In the case of beds with support rails and wooden slats, adjustable bases can work with those kinds of beds as long as the support rails and/or the wooden slats can be removed.
Based on our knowledge and firsthand experience, adjustable bases do not ruin beds as long as they are used in the way that they are intended for.
Yes. You can attach a headboard to the GhostBed Adjustable Base. However, you would need to purchase the headboard brackets from GhostBed separately.

Zero gravity settings come pre-set on most adjustable bed bases and adjustable bed frames. You can access these settings via the accompanying wireless remote control. This includes other brands that offer an adjustable bed frame.
First of all, make sure that your GhostBed remote has Child Lock turned off. To reset your GhostBed remote, unplug the base from the electrical outlet. Then, hold the PAIR button on the remote as you plug the base back in. The lights will then flash under the base. When the lights stop flashing, release the PAIR button.
If nothing works, you can restore the remote back to factory settings by pressing the “ZG” button and the “Flat Position” button simultaneously for 5 seconds until the backlight flashes. This will clear all customized settings and you would have to input any favorite setting you might have.Conclusion
