Its only downside is that, like most Saatva mattresses, the Saatva Latex Hybrid also commands a premium price and its motion isolation has room for improvement.

We also like that you swap out the foam layers which allows you to customize the mattress firmness to a level that best suits your preferred sleeping position. This not only makes it suitable for all sleeper types but also makes for a very sustainable mattress.

It’s not all perfect though (as most things are in this world) – the Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress’ edge support is severely lacking.

Remember when we said that the Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress feels like a Tempur-Pedic mattress? We weren’t kidding. For a latex hybrid mattress that’s supposedly responsive and bouncy it sleeps like a premium memory foam mattress, contouring and cradling the body.

When it comes to cooling, we rate the Naturepedic EOS Classic a 9.5.

We have yet to encounter a latex mattress that does poorly when it comes to cooling and the Naturepedic EOS Classic is no exception. The combination of naturally cooling latex and the spring coil unit provides immediate relief for those who suffer from hot flashes and night sweats.

When it comes to motion isolation, we rate the Naturepedic EOS Classic an 8.7.

While not amazing, the Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress’ motion isolation is not entirely bad either. It really all depends on the firmness level you choose. The softer the chosen layers, the more motion transfer and the firmer the layers, the less motion transfer so if you share a bed with a partner, you should take this into consideration.

When it comes to edge support, we rate the Naturepedic EOS Classic a 6.

Let’s get straight to the point here: the lack of any sort of enhanced edges plus the lack of reinforced seams in the mattress cover renders the Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress’ edges practically useless – ok that’s an exaggeration, but you WILL roll off the bed if you attempt to sleep close to the edge.

The combination of the quilted premium pillow top and proprietary memory foam layers contour and cradle your body to provide superior pressure relief on all the major pressure points.

Maybe it’s because the springs in the coil unit are a little too well, springy and the latex foam is a little too responsive and bouncy but when we tried the mattress out with a partner, we definitely felt significant movement.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows though, the Latex for Less has a drawback and that is it could be a little too firm for lightweight sleepers who prefer to sleep on their sides.
