The Saatva RX is softer than average and we rated it 6 out of 10 on the mattress firmness scale.
The Saatva RX mattress gave us a lot of comfort and cushioning and we got ample support from the pocketed coils underneath.
We recommend the Saatva RX because it works for most body types regardless of your preferred sleeping position.
However, we don’t recommend it for heavier stomach sleepers especially those with arthritis pain. Your hips might sink into the soft foam layers which will put your hips and spine out of alignment. In this case, we suggest that you opt for a firmer mattress.
The Saatva RX got a 9.9 in our pressure relief test.
This is the highest pressure relief score we’ve given so far and the Saatva RX really is exceptional even among other memory foam mattresses.
We highly recommend it for those with arthritis because we experienced soft cradling on our joints and sturdy support to ensure neutral spinal alignment.
The gel memory foam layer in the mattress also evenly distributed weight by conforming to my body shape. I felt no tension whatsoever in my joints and especially in my lower back and spine.

The Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress is available in five firmness levels ranging from Plush (3) all the way to Extra Firm (8).
Like most latex mattresses, the EOS Classic mattress did have a bouncy and resilient feel but it was balanced out by the plush quilted layer on top.
We recommend it for all sleeper types and couples who experience arthritis pain.

The Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress got a 9.6 in our pressure relief test.
We experienced the best pressure relief on the Plush and Medium versions. We recommend these versions for those who suffer from joint pain.
The Naturepedic EOS Classic mattress got a 9.5 in our responsiveness test.
Latex mattresses usually score high in this area and the EOS showed quick response to pressure. I didn’t experience any issues moving around the mattress but the thick quilting materials in the cover did reduce responsiveness by a tiny bit.

We felt more uplifted on this bed rather than being enveloped by it which is great for arthritis sufferers with low mobility.
However, we don’t recommend it for plus-size stomach sleepers who need firmer support on their hips. If this is you, we suggest opting for a firmer hybrid mattress.

It gently conformed to my body shape to actively relieve pressure by spreading my weight evenly across the mattress surface. If you’re having joint pain, this mattress is a great option.

If you’re a stomach sleeper who weighs over 300 lbs., this might be the wrong mattress for you. It has a bit too much give under the hips which could mess up your spinal alignment and cause hip pain.

It’s right around a medium to medium-firm and it has a soft body-hugging feel that’s pretty common with most memory foam mattresses. It’s suitable for all sleeper types but it works best for side sleepers and back sleepers.
We do not recommend the Midnight Luxe to stomach sleepers who weigh well over 300 lbs. as heavier-set stomach sleepers might find their hips to dip into the mattress throwing the spine out of alignment.
A better alternative for plus-size stomach sleepers is the Helix Dawn mattress further down below.
