Diamond pillows on a mattress

Diamond Mattress is a company that has a great reputation for their mattresses (duh). But did you know that they have a pillow as well?

The Diamond Pillow offers a soft foundation and is available with two different options: high profile and low profile. These two options are designed to accommodate different sleeping positions: stomach, back, and side.

Our favorite thing about the Diamond Pillow is that it doesn’t lose its shape. Our least favorite thing about this pillow is that it has limited information about it on the Diamond Mattress website.

What type of sleeper should buy a Diamond Pillow?

Since the Diamond is available in both high profile and low profile options, this pillow is great for all types of sleepers.

The high profile pillow is best for back and side sleepers. If you’re either one of those types, you most likely need extra head, neck, and shoulder support to help maintain proper spinal alignment.

The low profile option is ideal for people who sleep on their stomach. If you’re a belly sleeper you shouldn’t use a high profile pillow since it will cause your neck to bend at an unnatural angle and may cause aches and pains. Low profile pillows eliminate that risk.

Features of the Diamond Pillow

The Diamond Pillow is available in two sizes: queen and king. It’s available in two heights: high profile and low profile.

It’s constructed out of Certi-pur LUSH and Hi-CORE Foam layers, which are designed to provide a balance between support and comfort.

The pillow includes a 120-night sleep trial and a 2-year warranty that protects you from manufacturer defects. The company also offers free shipping on their mattresses and pillows within the contiguous United States.

Now that we’ve got the basics out of the way, let’s take an in-depth look at the features of the Diamond Pillow so you can make an informed purchasing decision.

Firmness

We rate the Diamond Pillow as being a medium level of firmness. Pillows that have a medium level of firmness are sort of a jack-of-all-trade. If you don’t have a strong preference regarding how firm your pillow is, this is a great option.

Medium firmness is a great option for people who like the “sinking in” feeling of a soft pillow but also like the support that firm pillows offer. If you’re willing to compromise on both counts (or get the best of both worlds, depending on how you look at it) than the Diamond Pillow is a good choice.

Temperature control

We found that this pillow does an excellent job of regulating your body temperature while sleeping.

Maintaining a cool body temperature is one of the most important aspects of sleep hygiene – the best practices you should follow to get high-quality sleep. We found that the fabric in these pillows did a great job of maintaining airflow. None of our reviewers woke up in the middle of the night due to temperature issues, so we can definitely confirm that the Diamond Pillow is great at keeping you cool throughout the night.

What sizes are available?

The Diamond Pillow is available in the following standard sizes:

  • Queen
  • King

It’s also available in two different heights:

Pricing

The Diamond Pillow is priced within the average range for a premium pillow. Here’s how much it costs:

  • Queen – $79
  • King – $89

Warranty

A 2-year limited warranty protects your pillow against manufacturer defects.

To initiate a warranty claim, send your proof of purchase and a brief description of the problem you’re having with your product to [email protected] or by snail mail to:

Trial period

Diamond offers a 120-night trial period for their pillows, beginning on the date that you receive your package. This is an above-average trial period in this industry. Brands such as Coop Home Goods and others offer a 100-night trial as the standard.

If you’re not satisfied with your pillow for any reason, contact the company to receive a full refund. It’s important to note that the company’s “White Glove In-Home Delivery Service” is non-refundable.

Contact the company via phone or email to initiate a return within the trial period.

Care and maintenance

You can spot clean the Diamond Pillow using mild detergent and warm water. The company recommends that you don’t completely immerse the pillow in water or dry clean it.
